Purpose
The Website Liaison builds high-quality backlinks to our website to help boost our SEO and online visibility. You'll be reaching out to relevant websites, finding link opportunities, and making connections that get our content linked. The goal is to grow our site's authority and bring in more traffic.

Duties
Find and secure backlinks – Research websites, blogs, directories, and other platforms that can link to our site.

Outreach and relationship building – Contact website owners, bloggers, and organizations to request backlinks through guest posts, resource pages, collaborations, or other link-building strategies.

Create and pitch link-worthy content – Identify and promote existing content or suggest new content ideas that make great backlink opportunities.

Monitor backlinks – Track existing links to ensure quality and watch for any lost or broken links that need replacing.

Stay up to date on SEO best practices – Keep an eye on Google's algorithm changes, link-building trends, and ethical SEO techniques.

Think creatively – Come up with new ways to get backlinks beyond the usual outreach methods.

Be persistent – Follow up on outreach efforts, negotiate when needed, and stay consistent in building links over time.

Additional Duties
Basic HTML knowledge (a plus, but not required) – Understanding how links work in HTML can be helpful for fixing or formatting backlinks.

Comfortable with spreadsheets – Use Google Sheets or Excel to organize and track outreach efforts, backlinks, and link opportunities.

This is a full-time position M-F 8-5.

Requirements
Basic understanding of SEO and benefits of links to a website

High School Diploma, comfort and experience with Microsoft Office/Google office programs. 

Familiarity with working remote is a plus, but not a requirement. 

Any experience as an executive assistant or communicator for upper/management is a plus.
