Our client's company is a well-established provider of plastic piping and related products, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. With 16 years of experience in the industry, they are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead operations at their 40,000-square-foot facility.

This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining a high level of organization and leadership within the warehouse.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including the management of temporary employees, with the potential to build a permanent team as the company grows. Keyholding responsibilities and a personal office highlight the significance of this role, offering a unique opportunity to impact the companys operations directly.

The position includes managing LTL shipments, semitruck loads, and handling up to ten containers weekly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and leadership, complemented by the ability to work independently and adapt to the companys evolving needs.

• Oversee and manage daily operations in a 40,000-square-foot warehouse, including the arrival and departure of LTL shipments and semitruck loads.
• Manage keyholding responsibilities and have oversight of warehouse operations.
• Supervise temporary employees and eventually hire a permanent team.
• Operate forklifts as needed to ensure efficient handling of products.
• Ensure that all products are received, inspected, tracked, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct LTL investigation and selection to optimize shipping processes.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule (8-5, 7-4, or 8:30-5:30) to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the team to implement policies and adapt to changing sources and receiving locations.
• Maintain a commitment to getting things done right while remaining nimble to pivot as needed.

• Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a small team in a somewhat casual leadership style.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with forklift operation and handling LTL shipments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
