About the Role
The Company is in search of a dynamic Director of Sales to join their team. The successful candidate will be a high-energy, high-achieving sales leader with a proven track record in media, particularly in the audio and digital space. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth across various audio content platforms, including radio stations, digital, social, and events. The Director of Sales will be responsible for not only exceeding revenue objectives but also for inspiring and leading a large sales organization, developing and maintaining a focused sales strategy, and nurturing client relationships. The ideal candidate will be data and results-driven, with strong mentorship skills, and the ability to innovate in a changing media landscape. Applicants for the Director of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in media sales, with a strong background in strategic account management, sales training, and leadership. The role requires a goal-driven, creative individual with the ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment. Essential qualifications include a history of effectively leading a large sales organization, recruiting and retaining top talent, and a proven track record of leading a successful sales team through change and innovation. The candidate must be an exceptional communicator, both in interpersonal and presentation skills, and a highly skilled negotiator. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the role may involve travel, so a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are also required.
