TRAVELING CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT

*This job travels to different sites for period of time

*MUST be able to travel

Summary: You MUST be able and willing to travel to various project sites for extended stays, read design plans and blueprints, oversee/manage subcontractors, self-perform trades such as painting, carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical, drywall and other repair skills as needed to complete construction projects. This job requires you to TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT SITES for a period of time.

We are seeking a highly skilled HANDS-ON traveling construction superintendent to join our team!!!!!!

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Performs minor plumbing (e.g., replace sinks, faucets, toilets, and faucet fixtures as needed, etc.)
• Manage subcontractors and project worksites.
• Performs routine painting, carpentry work, etc.
• Performs minor electrical (e.g., repair or replacement of fixtures, wall switches, and outlets. Replace light bulbs, ballasts, and sockets if necessary).
• Fully utilizes technology (tablet, smartphone) to: Access and complete work orders including notes on services provided.
• Create and submit Service Reports and Quality Inspection images and reports

Educations/Skills & Experience

• Minimum FIVE years experience in construction and construction supervision.
• Ability to read and comprehend design plans, blueprints and instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
• Ability to use and operate handheld device and business systems or document management Database software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain adequate knowledge of and always comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies.
• Computer and technology literacy necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team or independently

Travel Requirements

• Travel and Extended onsite stays REQUIRED
• MUST be willing and available to be out of town plus overnights for extended periods.
• MUST have a current valid current Drivers License
