Position Overview: KODA Technologies is seeking a talented
Technical Recruiter (part-time) to identify, recruit, source, screen, and present qualified candidates for technical and engineering positions in the defense industry. The perfect candidate has experience in a technical field, understands the defense industry, and enjoys interacting with people.
Remote work is available with expected hours of approximately 20 hours per week. What You'll Be Doing: - Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
- Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
- Posts open positions in the applicant tracking system and advertises positions in order to gain qualified candidates.
- Sources applicants and identifies appropriate candidates, through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
- Screens qualified candidates and schedules interviews.
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
What Skills You'll Bring: - Bachelor's degree in related technical and/or human resources field preferred
- At least two years of related recruiting experience is required, with prior experience in technical roles a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of technology, technical and engineering roles, technical skills, and the defense market.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
