Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Task Log Administrator (TLA) to join our New Product Sales department. The TLA will report to the Director of Emerging Markets (DOEM) and play a critical role in maintaining our task log, supporting sales activities, and driving the success of new product offerings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company’s growth and build valuable relationships with both vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Task Log Management:
  • Maintain the task log with up-to-date information.
  • Assign tasks to the appropriate responsible parties.
  • Monitor and ensure speed and accuracy in task completion.
• Sales Support:
  • Review quoted and open logs, ensuring customer follow-up via phone or email.
  • Build and submit complete and accurate quotes for new products in a timely manner.
  • Drive proactive selling activities, contributing to sales growth.
  • Track key metrics including speed to quote, revenue, win rate, accuracy, and inventory turn rate.
• Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of motor inventory and product offerings.
  • Attend and successfully complete product training sessions.
• Relationship Building:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Respond to incoming sales calls, logging and directing them to the appropriate person.
• Communication:
  • Effectively communicate internally and externally to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support the department and company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience in sales support or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
