Position Overview:

Pockyt is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of our Web2.5 wallet, bridging Web2 and Web3 technologies. This wallet will redefine user experiences by offering seamless integration between traditional and decentralized platforms. In addition to the wallet, you will support the core payments platform, driving innovation and scalability for our existing solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in blockchain technologies, a passion for delivering secure and efficient systems, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web2.5 Wallet Development:
• Lead the development of Pockyt's hybrid Web2.5 wallet with seamless Web2 login and Web3 capabilities.
• Implement Web3 features such as Wallet Connect, smart contract interactions, and staking/delegation functionality.
• Develop user-friendly onboarding experiences, integrating Web3 Authorization, MPC, and AA wallet technologies.
• Blockchain Integration: Integrate blockchain solutions with the wallet and existing systems to enhance functionality and interoperability.
• Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum, Solana, or other blockchain platforms.
• dApp/Wallet Integration: Build and maintain front-end applications that interact with smart contracts and decentralized protocols.
• Core Payments Platform Support: Contribute to the development, optimization, and scalability of Pockyt’s core payments infrastructure.
• Security Implementation: Ensure the security of wallet and smart contract solutions by following best practices and conducting audits.
• Scalability and Optimization: Optimize wallet and dApp performance for scalability and gas efficiency.
• Cross-Chain Development: Build solutions that interact with multiple blockchains using cross-chain bridges and interoperability protocols.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality blockchain and payments solutions.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Web2.5, blockchain, and Web3 technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, including building scalable and robust applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices architecture, and API development.
• Expertise in blockchain technologies, including smart contract development, dApp development, and cross-chain interoperability.
• Familiarity with Web3 Authorization, MPC, and Account Abstraction wallets.
• Database Expertise: Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Security: Strong understanding of secure coding practices and blockchain security.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with a focus on delivering results.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Preferred:
• Experience in fintech or payments platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of interoperability protocols and blockchain infrastructure.
