WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This position will lead and manage business and technology initiated projects to support TruStone Financial’s strategic, financial and operational excellence goals. The role includes project leadership, project vision, project planning, project execution, project control, and project delivery leveraging agile methods (e.g. Scrum and Kanban), waterfall methods, and hybrid delivery models. Candidates for this position are expected to have experience managing projects with $5 - $15 million budget in a diverse technology environment and strong matrix organization. This role demands a strong leader who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization internally, externally and globally. This role is an empowered leader who must drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems. This candidate has the primary responsibility to orchestrate large programs (e.g. Organizational Change Management - OCM), to partner with our cross functional teams and C-level leadership, to ensure that the project produces the desired benefits and value, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. This role demands someone who can collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization horizontally and vertically. This role will manage the projects work plan (tasks, milestones, & dependencies) and resource needs within and across teams. Communicate and coach process teams on the usage of Project Management industry best practices, processes and tools. Identify and qualify project risks, issues and scope changes and assist in their tracking using defined tools and processes within the project management framework.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm at our Plymouth Corporate Office or Burnsville Administrative Office; exempt.
In addition:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
12+ years direct work (hands-on) experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution preferred.
5+ years previous experience in financial services business domain preferred.
Cross functional leadership, collaboration, adaptability, release management and quality management skills.
Experience in orchestrating large programs with strengths in Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Business Process Reengineering (BRP).
Experience in managing a project team of 50+ resources.
Project management certification, PMP and/or CSM, required.
Experience with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL).
Experience in Agile (Scrum and Kanban), Waterfall and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and consensus building skills.
Strong familiarity with project management software.
Must have a proven ability to analyze and define problems and design and implement appropriate solutions.
Strong effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and deal with project conflicts as appropriate.
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking.
Highly developed interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a rapid changing environment.
Maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
