Job Summary:

We are excited to welcome a detail-oriented and knowledgeable 401(k) TPA Plan Administrator to our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing the administration of client retirement plans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while providing exceptional service to our clients. You will be the key point of contact for plan sponsors, participants, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Compliance: Ensure that retirement plans meet ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations. Conduct regular audits and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain compliance.


- Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for plan sponsors, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and delivering outstanding customer service.


- Reporting: Prepare and review annual plan documents, 5500 forms, and other required filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all submissions.


- Collaboration: Work closely with investment advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive services to our clients.


- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and DOL compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with FIS Relius is a plus
- Preferred certifications: Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), or similar

Additional Information:

- This position is remote within the United States. If you are local to the Chicago area, a hybrid working setting is recommended.
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, education, certifications, and more.
