As a Private Equity/Investment Banking Career Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our scholars toward successful careers in private equity and investment banking. You'll be part of a passionate team committed to making a real difference in the lives of our students by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their internships and future job offers.

Key Responsibilities

- Cohort Support: Guide a group of scholars through a combination of virtual, in-person, and hybrid experiences to ensure a successful internship in private equity or investment banking.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate scholar progress using internal rubrics and roadmaps, and report findings to the team and relevant stakeholders.
- Data Management: Collect and analyze data related to student performance, ensuring that it informs program improvements and supports scholar success.
- Best Practices Research: Investigate and implement effective coaching and cohort development practices from diverse organizations to enhance the student experience.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with scholars to support their retention and success throughout their journey in our program.
- Partner Feedback Systems: Develop and manage feedback systems from private equity and investment banking partners to facilitate scholar success during internships.
- Program Development: Contribute to the strategic planning and scalability of our program, ensuring systems are in place for effective student development and internship success.
- Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as needed to support the organization's mission and goals.

Education and Experience

Key Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Master's degree preferred) in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, particularly in Investment Banking or Private Equity.
- Strong ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and critically assess the relationship between identity and job performance.
- Proficiency in designing feedback mechanisms to enhance job performance.
- Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills to align programs with stakeholder needs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using data to inform decision-making.
- Strong Excel skills for tracking and monitoring data.
- Exceptional presentation skills, adaptable to various audiences, both oral and written.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for program and partner events, including some evening or weekend commitments.
- Enthusiasm for a start-up culture and a commitment to ethical practices and integrity.
