We are offering an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator based in Carson, California. This role is within the supply chain industry, specifically focusing on the efficient and timely movement of finished goods through our production, sales, and distribution channels. You will coordinate with various teams and external entities, such as suppliers and freight forwarders, to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to confirm and approve bookings.
• Ensure the efficient and timely movement of finished goods throughout our supply chain.
• Acquire import documentation and enter it into our ERP system, as well as providing it to brokers.
• Work closely with third-party logistics providers to ensure punctual delivery and receipt.
• Manage the inbound schedule for the warehouse and sales team.
• Oversee international dropship orders from initiation to completion, including coordinating pickup, receiving, invoicing, and dispatching documents to customers and/or banks.
• Handle pickups domestically and create Bills of Lading.
• Track, trace, and facilitate domestic shipments for key accounts.
• Process customer purchase orders, invoice customers, and notify sales once completed.
• Proactively identify potential inbound shipping issues or delays and communicate with warehouse and sales teams.
• Ensure the release and delivery of courier shipments held in customs by providing necessary documentation.
• Handle claims with forwarders and small parcel providers.
• Maintain a shipping guide in collaboration with service providers such as suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Investigate any incidents of damaged or lost packages.
• Efficiently manage work time to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Support team efforts to succeed by balancing team and individual responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.• Proficiency in business systems and their application in the logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cargowise software.
• Ability to effectively use CRM tools for customer relationship management.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and its use in logistic operations.
• Practical experience with ERP Solutions in a logistics setting.
• Familiarity with the About Time software.
• Proficient in handling billing functions, including invoice generation and tracking payments.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a high level of service to clients.
• Familiarity with customs processes and regulations in the logistics sector.
