Responsibilities:

  • As a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations team, assisting in key areas such as:

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

  • Manage and maintain inventory and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless operations in our innovative R&D company.
  • Implement inventory control systems and processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Procurement and Sourcing:

  • Assist in the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient handling of materials.
  • Work with logistics partners to streamline transportation and distribution processes.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supplier information.
  • Utilize supply chain management software to track and analyze key performance metrics.

General Business Operations:

  • Support daily business operations by assisting in administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication across the organization.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Certifications in supply chain management or logistics are highly desirable, such as:
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS
    • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS
    • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute for Supply

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated to learn new skills and support the operations team.
  • Basic understanding of business operations and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
