JOB TITLE: In-House Counsel - Healthcare

SUMMARY: LMMC Holdings and affiliates are looking for an experienced legal counsel to join the team. A successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in healthcare law transactions. Provide legal analysis, counsel, and advice concerning healthcare regulatory issues and compliance. Must be able to work through matters diligently as they occur.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide legal guidance and support for various practice objectives.
- Assist in handling legal matters, transactions, and other projects assigned.
- Provide legal advice with respect to corporate leadership administration and governance.
- Monitor pertinent legislative and regulatory developments.
- Identify critical legal risk exposures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to patient care and HIPAA requirements.
- Perform other duties as requested from CEO or executive level leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Licensed to practice law in designated state, and in good standing.
- Litigation experience required.
- Knowledge of state and federal health care laws and regulations.
- Negotiating and decision-making abilities. Research, investigate, and analyze issues to offer the company well-reasoned, strategic solutions.
- Impeccable time-management, attention to detail, professional judgement and communication skills.
- Manage tasks in a fast-paced environment, where priorities can change quickly. Be able to coordinate deadlines, prioritize work demands, and monitor assignments.
- Possess customer service and communication skills to work with professionals and maintain confidentiality standards.
