Job Description

The Spa Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Spa, Salon, Fitness center, and Holistic Healing Center, ensuring all departments deliver exceptional guest experiences that align with the resort's luxury brand standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wellness and a proven track record of leading high-performing spa teams.

You'll need to provide associates with the tools, information, and support necessary to do their jobs with excellence.

Producing Excellence:

You'll responsibly manage areas that positively and negatively impact the bottom line while creating Real Life Magic for our guests.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Spa operation through team management, innovative service menu development, purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory, facility and equipment maintenance.
  • In coordination with the Director of Retail, oversee inventory and daily operation of the Spa retail outlet.
  • Ensure that services are consistently high quality, personalized to the guest, executed with precision and heart, in both a timely manner and tranquil environment.
  • Oversee the spa's budget, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
  • Plan and execute promotional events that attract and retain spa guests.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with spa product and equipment vendors.
  • Keep everyone safe through the highest compliance with all safety and sanitation procedures and regulations as well as immediately correcting or reporting any disrespectful actions, safety hazards, or unsafe practices.
  • Maintain our spa facility: ensure daily cleaning and sanitation occurs and regular preventive maintenance is scheduled and executed.Report issues immediately.

  • Evolve the spa menu to reflect guest preferences, requests, and cutting-edge therapies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field and five (5) years' experience in Spa Management or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all duties of the position.
  • Knowledge of the management and operations of a world-class spa.

While we strive to ensure our team members have work-life balance, a minimum of 2 days of a week, and a regular schedule, occasionally this position will demand something different including the potential for working evenings/nights, early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays.
