Role: Credentialing Specialist I

  • We are currently seeking a Credentialing Specialist for a 24-month temp-to-hire opportunity within our Value-Based Services department. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in healthcare credentialing, compliance, and provider enrollment. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing the credentialing and re-credentialing processes, verifying provider data, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate records in our credentialing database. Reason:

  • This new role is open due to HCN's growing workload, as it supports 60+ health centers across 18 states , serving 18 million patients . This expansion has significantly increased the demand for credentialing services.

Team Structure:

  • The candidate will report to Christy, the Credentialing Manager, and be part of a team of seven Credentialing Specialists, including two Team Leads.

Interview Process:

  • The candidate will participate in a virtual interview with the Senior Credentialing Manager, and upon successful completion, the expectation is to move forward with an offer.
