Essential Functions:

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

• Oversee and manage cloud services and infrastructure, including Azure and Citrix environments.

Server Patch Management :

• Regularly update and patch servers to ensure security and functionality.
• Manage the patching process to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Data Management :

• Maintain data integrity and security across all systems.
• Ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management practices are in place.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other database management systems.

Backup and Disaster Recovery :

• Ensure data is backed up regularly using tools like Veeam and Datto.
• Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.

Documentation and Mapping :

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes.
• Develop detailed system maps and diagrams to facilitate better understanding and management.

Monitor and Maintain Alerting and Dashboards in Logic Monitor :

• Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems using Logic Monitor.
• Ensure all critical systems are monitored and alerts are appropriately configured.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools like ManageEngine or Logic Monitor.

Reporting Server Performances Across Locations :

• Regularly report on server performance metrics across different locations.
• Identify and address performance issues to maintain optimal server performance.

Deploying and Maintaining Various Windows Server Types :

• Deploy and manage different types of Windows servers as needed, including:
  • File servers
  • Print servers
  • Domain controllers
  • SQL servers
  • Citrix servers
  • Application servers
  • Web servers
  • DNS and DHCP servers

Email and Communication Services :

• Oversee email systems, ISP management, and other communication services.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID to streamline access and improve security.

Technical Support :

• Provide technical support for end users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.

Security Implementation :

• Implement security measures and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for cloud and on-prem environments.

Scripting and Automation :

• Develop and maintain scripts for automation of administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.

Performance Optimization :

• Analyze and optimize system performance for both cloud and on-prem environments.

Incident Management :

• Respond to and resolve system outages or performance issues.

Capacity Planning :

• Monitor and plan for system capacity and scalability needs.

Compliance and Governance :

• Ensure systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Backup Solutions :

• Experience with backup and recovery tools and strategies.

Storage Management :

• Understanding of SAN, NAS, and other storage solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):

Preferred Education:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate

  • Experience with cloud and on-premises virtual machines administration.
  • Knowledge of server management, including data management and file server administration.
  • Familiarity with deploying and managing various types of Windows servers.
  • Skilled in deploying and maintaining backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Proficient in IT equipment procurement and budgeting.
  • Capable of server consolidation and migration to Azure.
  • Experience with Active Directory deployment and management.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.

Work Environment:
This position will be performed in an office environment

Physical Demands:
There are little to no physical demands required of this position.

Travel Required:
There is minimal travel, beyond commuting to the office, expected of this position.
