We are seeking a Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join their team for the current school year. Position Overview:
As a Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and support to students with visual impairments. You'll work closely with educators, parents, and support teams to ensure students receive the resources and accommodations needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
Provide specialized instruction and adaptive strategies to help students access the curriculum.
Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success.
Utilize virtual platforms to conduct engaging, interactive lessons and assessments.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed.
Offer guidance on assistive technology and adaptive tools to enhance student learning.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student accommodations.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Colorado teaching certification with a TVI endorsement.
Master's degree in Special Education, Visual Impairments, or a related field from an accredited institution.
At least 2 years of recent experience working with students with visual impairments.
Strong ability to work independently in a remote learning environment.
Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms and assistive technology to support students effectively.

Compensation & Benefits:
1099 contracted position for the current school year, with potential renewal for the 2025-2026 school year.
Competitive and negotiable hourly rate ($35-$45 per hour), based on experience.
Compensation for all hours worked, including direct instruction and indirect services.
