We have an exciting opening for a Business Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in expanding our cybersecurity services. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying and targeting potential clients in need of cybersecurity solutions, developing a strong pipeline of leads through market research and networking, and offering tailored advice on cybersecurity strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in need of cybersecurity professional services. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through market research and networking.
  • Understand clients' cybersecurity challenges and offer tailored solutions. Provide expert advice on cybersecurity strategies and technologies.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations showcasing the company's cybersecurity services. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and feasible offerings.
  • Lead negotiations with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals and secure contracts for cybersecurity projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, VARs and partners. Ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, market demands, and competitor activities. Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts and technical teams to understand service capabilities and align sales efforts with technical delivery.
  • Maintain and grow the relationship with cybersecurity vendors such as Palo Alto Network, Fortinet, etc. and promote Cypfer’s services, expertise and managed-services offerings
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, demonstrations to promote all of Cypfer’s services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the cybersecurity industry, specifically in professional services.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and services. Technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, industry challenges, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extensive network of contacts in the cybersecurity community and related industries.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market needs and tailor services accordingly.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward common goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to offer innovative solutions to clients' cybersecurity challenges.
