Job Description

The Bilingual Public Health Educator will provide specialized health information and training to various community groups and the public. In this role, you will play a key part in educating and empowering communities by delivering crucial health education initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized health education to various community groups and individuals
• Provide community-based resources and information to promote public health awareness
• Collaborate with organizations and stakeholders to enhance outreach efforts
• Maintain accurate records and reports of community engagement activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Behavioral Science, Public Health, or a closely related field
• Directly related professional experience in Public Health, Education, or a closely related field may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis
• Community Health Worker certification preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
• Knowledge of community-based programs and services
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License
• Must be up to date on vaccinations
