Who we are
About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team

The Americas Marketing team is a high-performing group laser-focused on fueling Stripe's expansion across the region. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by building and optimizing programs and strategies. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Sales, Product, Partnerships, and others to drive measurable business results and growth.
What you'll do

We're seeking an experienced, creative, and results-oriented marketer who knows the startup ecosystem to drive world-class field marketing for Startup and SMBs in the Americas region. This field marketer will be responsible for defining, executing, and leading a marketing strategy that delivers growth and revenue at scale for startups and small-to-medium businesses in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate is data-driven, relentlessly seeks to optimize, stays at the cutting edge of modern marketing practices, and has a passion for collaborating with sales teams to drive successful customer outcomes. As a member of the Americas Marketing team, this is a great opportunity to build and have a significant impact on our rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the regional field marketing strategy and execution plan to fuel pipeline growth with the Startups and SMB sales teams across the Americas
  • Own key business and revenue metrics, providing cross-functional insights to drive continuous optimization and improvement
  • Partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Americas regional events strategy, including third-party and Stripe-hosted events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid)
  • Design and execute mid- and lower-funnel regional marketing programs to accelerate leads, opportunities, and revenue growth
  • Serve as a thought leader representing the Americas as we build Stripe's global startup and SMB strategies
  • Leverage Stripe's marketing tech stack and analytics capabilities to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize the field marketing engine
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant B2B field marketing experience, leading regional strategies across multiple customer segments, and products
  • Proven track record of executing field marketing programs and events that drive new customer acquisition and pipeline growth
  • Expertise in developing and executing scaled and targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns across the full funnel
  • Experience working in both digital and in-person event environments, with a deep understanding of how to integrate event experiences into the buyer's journey
  • Successful track record of collaborating with Sales teams, including joint planning, lead management, and earning trust as a strategic partner
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with ability to synthesize and communicate business health with leadership
  • Experience working with funded startups or VCs in North America is preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management capabilities
  • Startup mentality with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
