Description About Us Ben Weitsman of Albany, a division of Upstate Shredding - Weitsman Recycling, is the East Coast's largest privately held scrap metal processing and recycling company. We pride ourselves on our dedication to sustainability, community, and exceptional service. We're looking for a dependable and skilled Class B Roll-Off Driver to join our Albany team. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver and pick up roll-off containers from commercial, residential, and industrial locations. Transport scrap metal and other materials to and from the yard. Secure loads in compliance with DOT and company standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle. Interact professionally with customers while ensuring timely service. Adhere to all company safety protocols and state/federal regulations. Qualifications Class B CDL with a clean driving record. Previous roll-off or similar truck experience preferred. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and local driving routes. Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including climbing in/out of vehicles and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
